26. Letting Go
Last scene of all,
That ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion;
Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste,
As advised by gurus, they imagine themselves dissolving into pools of colour...some hot, some cold...some loud, some hushed...some tart, some mellow...some pungent, some fragrant. They free themselves from the known world and float and follow each colour’s vibration. They vanish into the varied hues...and suddenly they’re gone.
