15. Epiphany

Struck dumb as an alternatve
and possible reality dawned.
History and experience
violently impacting
to form a viable option:
another other course
had opened up.
“Open Sesame”
or a mixed blessing?
A way of life,
a trove to treasure.


In their forties at the start of their final seventh year of their degree in Fine Art, it was as though they had been struck by a lightning’s bolt, every thing was wrong since before birth...even prior to conception.
Painting-a more fluid form of thought than classical logic or ratiocination- allowed the truth to seep out. This hints at and indicates the sense of Kristevan abjection, that would follow. Shock and feeble helplessness. A wound, which leaked.
