Did the sensed unease and queerness belong with the festive gay crowds rising. to extol their proud difference? Remembering early taunts, to be a lesbian seemed possible, well in theory at least. There, certainly, arose the opportunity, but following a hot and sweaty session, this hope crashed. Shards and debris from the wreckage mocked the hero, who, it seemed, could only give and not receive love. The reasons for this imbalance were yet to be revealed. The rainbow hat was donned, if somewhat with an ill fit and most definitely askew.

Spoiler alert: it would need a wizard of a milliner to adjust it aright, (or his best apprentice.)
